The 1050 ti would give you the 1080p60 but you'd probably have to dial the graphics down to medium. The RX 470 should be enough for ultra, and any higher won't really help, unless you're gaming at a higher res or FPS.
Heyo Timy-90

Since you're suggesting the 750 ti and such, wouldn't the new 1050 ti be appealing? That card should work like a charm, although might be abit more expensive than the ones, you've suggested yourself.

Another thing. I don't know whether you feel it or not, but wouldn't a RAM upgrade be amazing? Personally I have 16gb of RAM, and I feel like that's on the edge of not being enough for me. You can easily find a 4gb stick used, and just plop it in to get 8gb of total RAM. Well, with that said, that's only an option if you have 2 DIMM slots, and only 1 is occupied at the moment.

Anyhow, good luck finding the perfect GPU!

Thanks!

Yes, 1050ti looks great. Won't 2400 bottleneck it?

No, the 2400 is still a very capable CPU. 4 gens later, Intel has done very little in terms of the all important IPC. If you want to play modern titles 1080p 60FPS, you should upgrade to the RX 470, at around 180$. If you can afford it, it's very good value.

I have those components and was looking for a better-then-console alternative. That's why I want the gpu upgrade.

1080p 60fps is what I would like with settings better than console.
