I have a Lenovo G40-70 laptop here and to game a little. My current specs is

Intel Celeron 957u 1.4ghz bga
2gb ram ddr3 (gonna be upgrading this to 8gb)
Intel HD graphics.

What would the best gpu to pair with my cpu?

You're stuck with the Intel HD graphics.
