I read a review about r7 265 and it showed that it outperform the gtx 750 ti in many games but other reviews showed that nvidia works better with Intel Processors than amd (all I care is about the performance regardless the power efficient) but i have been seeing many games which i like such as assassin creed black flag customized for nvidia cards (the way it meant to be play project) and I wonder if that will make the gtx 750ti outperform the r7 265 in these games. I am a looking for a budget GPU though
A dual-core processor (especially without hyperthreading) WILL hold back a higher-end card like the 970 in several games nowadays.
That 3258 needs to be closer to 4.7-4.8GHz to be barely comparable to an i3 in gaming.
On the other hand, it's better off to start with a fast GPU now and upgrade the CPU later to an i5 since it'll be a simple drop-in replacement.
GTX 960, since you already OC'ed. If that doesn't work, then GTX 750 Ti is the most solid choice. Both cards are as efficient.

No it won't. However, I told you my reason to grab the card is because your CPU took a bit of unused power in the 520W, so you'll need to grab an efficient card. Grab a GTX 750 Ti because it's less watts.

My Rig Specifcation
PSU :Seasonic 520W s12II
Processor: intel G3258 @4ghz voltage set 1.152v , everything else is on auto except for the memory xmp is enabled
Cooler : Stock Cooler
HD: WD Cavier Blue 1TB
Motherboard: Asus H81M-V3
RAM: Gskill ripjaw 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ running @1400mhz (using XMP profile)
optical drive :none
case : decent one
operating system: windows 7 professional 64 bit
That PSU is more than enough for any single GPU card he'd care to add that isn't a highly overclocked R9 290(x). My 4790k + Titan X setup doesn't even hit 500W when gaming; his machine will barely use 200W when gaming.
But he has that OC to worry about... CPU itself should hit 120W per Volts to Watts calculations (W=100V, 1.2V stable OC assumed), along with other components.
Will i be able to upgrade to Intel 5th generation my rig specifications
Asus h81m-v3
Intel g3258
I heard intel 5th generation processor comes with iris graphics 6100 which handles 4k screen @60hz
I KNOW!!! Like I said, the PSU won't hold an OC and a high TDW card. Grab a 750 Ti.
okcnaline :
No. I believe it's an entirely different chipset altogether.

that is so confusing especially the information came from the same website; but Intel website itself when it launches the 9 series chipset, the sheet that come from intel for this chipset is to support the 5th generation processor but maybe they meant devil canyon by that i do not really know
