can anyone please suggest which is best for gaming and performance.... gpu- evga gtx970 4gb acx sc 2.0 or zotac gtx970 4gb amp extreme edition,please explain why?

I'd go with the ASUS Strix GTX 970. If I had to choose between the 2 options that you've given, I'd go with the EVGA ACX SC 2.0

The Gigabyte GTX-970 WindForce OC G1 Gaming is the best 970 around. It is a total super beast for overclocking (I have seen ppl getting it up to 1500-1600 Mhz STABLE) and it stays around 60-65 degrees celsius under max load. It looks good too and is fairly cheap.

The AMP! Extreme has two fans that blow air in and one the pulls air out. Very clever design. It can be overclocked like hell since it has 2 8 pin power connectors. I would keep an eye on that card. And it's the only card with multiple colors of lighting.
