Question Best Gpu, no power connectors?

Got a buddy who wants to upgrade his gpu, oem pc, but doesnt want the hassle with new psu , what gpu with no power connectors would u recommend or is it safe to put any gpu with same power consumption as one he had before?

1050ti soon to be replaced by the 1650 works by using power from motherboard only.

Since we don't know what computer he has, or what his previous card was as you didn't say, I hope his PSU is strong enough and he doesn't have a custom board that only supports 35w of power.
