Hello, my GPU started dying so I am looking to buy a new GPU and looks like RTX 3000 series won't be available for awhile so what would be the best GPU to get going into 2021. I am also planning to get a Ryzen 3900X, I already have good RAM and I will get the B550 motherboard but I don't know which GPU to get, I prefer Nvidia. My current specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
GTX 1050Ti
16Gb DDR4 3200Mhz
EVGA 650W SuperNova G5
ASUS A320M-K
They are ALL incredibly horrid values right now. The price of last gen (which is now midrange) hasn't really come down at all.
$379 5700XT will come close to doubling your 1050Ti performance. (Price this week only) (No ray tracing. But does meet you 1080p refresh rates with a number of games)
$470 2070Super (IF you can find one. It has dated Ray Tracing performance)
$500 3070 (MUCH better buy but out of stock) You will only find the founders editions at this price and they are NOWHERE to be found due to limited production
All the AIB vendors are taking advantage of the current shortages and charging a super premium on new generation cards. We're talking $150 markups on MSRP.
If you can wait till May you'll be in a much better spot.
