My computer was bought around 6 years ago and recently I feel the need to upgrade my GPU for "modern" use. My current specs are

AMD Athlon x2 Dual Core 4400+
Radeon 2100 (Graphics)
2 GB of DDR2 Ram
500W PSU (I think it is because it says ATX-500PS on the sticker)

I've done a bit of research on which graphic card to get and I've narrowed it down to these..

GT 610
GT 630
GT 640
Radeon HD 6450
Radeon HD 6650

I'll be using my computer mainly for school work, watching videos, and playing games like League of Legends, Maplestory. I can spend around 80 dollars and the holidays are coming so I guess I'll have a few more options if better cards go on sale. What do you guys recommend? Something that can run what I need and doesn't bottleneck.

Solution
i have an 7770 running on 800w omega generic psu (3 years whit me) and no problem at all, you just need and 600-800 w generic psu or 450-500 real watts PSU from thermaltake , corsair, or something good, upping from 2gb to 4 or 6gb its good to, i upgrated at same time 7800 gtx to 7770 hd and 2gb to 6 gb and perfomance increase a lot :D , but you can save some cash going for the 6650 that should cost less and buy a decent psu

@Sevenater I won't mind going a bit over, but since it's already an old PC (6 years) and the GPU is temporary I don't think I'll need to go that far yet. I doubt my computer can handle all the power of the 7770 because my CPU is weak and it could bottleneck.

Hi i have an 7770 running on 1.1 pci-e x8 slot and runs FINE, but my athlon x2 6000 does bottleneck but only in MODERN and high demanding CPU processing games and bencharts, most of games runs great since i upgraded from my 7800 gtx (256 bits ddr3 ) but if you dont wanna get that videocard i will choose the 6650, ddr3 its over, go ddr5 at least in 128 bits bus (256 bits better)

But will my PSU be able to handle the 7770? I'm only assuming it's a 500w PSU because there's no sticker that says. I won't mind going for a even better one but my PC can only handle so much and I am saving up for RAM, and I'll be needing a laptop too so I can't spend too much on one thing..
