Hi and sorry for my bad english.
I play mostly lol and mount and blade but from time to time i simply like to play what ever i feel like. Cheapest rx 470 here (4gb) cost 250€, rx 480 (4gb) 262€, gtx 1060 338€ and 1070 goes for 489€. I plan to keep gpu for 4-5years

1070 would be very very good, and be underutilised initially at 1080p, but as time goes on will last for longer, the 1060 would be better matched, but will have to drop from ultra much sooner. The 1070 will also happily survive a monitor upgrade to 1440p, the 1060 less so. (having said that i'm on a 970 on 1440p and it's managing at reasonable settings).

yeah the 1070 is a great card or you can go with a 1060 and it outperforms the rx 480 in almost every game the only thing is there is no sli support in the 1060 which means you can only use a single 1060 so if you plan on keeping this pc for a while you should spend a fair bit on the gpu

Go with the 1070 if u want to play more graphics demanding games you have the gpu for it

since you only play lol games similar the 480 is also a great option it's cheaper and uses less power. the 1060 is also the same thing but a tad better

Samer good idea but shiping from germany usualy cost 30-40€ and then price diference from buying here and in online store does not make me feel so good about warranty. (i know they will respect it but added cost of sending and time)

Amd for sure. Maxwells are already in the legacy club. Look to the past: the old r9 290x still rocks, the 780 has lost a lot of performance.

take out 19% German tax .. you wont pay those .. you only pay taxes in your country

I bought my Radeon HD 5770 when it first appeared in 2012. It wasn't start of the art, bleeding edge at the time. Only now am I even thinking of upgrading to a 4K capable video card to go with my new intel i5 6600K CPU. Odds are it will be a 1080 or 480, but it depends on what the gaming industry does. If there comes a game I love, I'll build up accordingly.

You know those two cards are quite different in terms of performance?
