Best GPU under $180 and less than 9 inches long?

My pc has a hard drive cage really close to the gpu slot so can't fit stuff too big, also I can pay a couple more bucks over 180 if necessary for the best performance.

I was thinking about the power color 7850 but I heard from someone that it doesn't work well with league of legends which is a game I play quite often.

Probably an individual thing with that card. In any event, I think a 2g 7850 is a very good choice.
Generally with AMD cards, goe with Sapphire as 1st choice. Such as:

However, the 7870's are also below $180, and mine is 8.9" long so you might consider this:

It depends on what resolution, detail, refresh rate and how many displays that person is using. What display setup are you using? If it is a typical single monitor in 1080p and 60 FPS, you should be fine with the 7850. There are people maxing out the detail or getting near max on much older lesser cards in that game.
