Question Best GPU upgrade from a 1050ti

Hi,

I have recently built a new system (apart from GPU)

Specs;
i5 9600k
STRIX z390 H gaming
Gigabyte 1050 TI 4gb
16gb HyperX 2666Mhz

It won't be until the summer that i upgrade my GPU but i was just wondering on some tips on what would be best to upgrade to when the time comes.

Was thinking a 2070 but then the 1660ti came out which leads me to believe more 16 series cards could be coming out this year?

Anyway, any pointers and tips would be great. Thanks

2070 would be a good choice. The 1660 non ti is supposed to be coming out soon. If you are hoping for a "16" series card that's more powerful than a 1660ti I doubt we will see that, wouldn't make sense in nvidias lineup they already have the 2060. They aren't going to make a card as powerful or more powerful than the 2060 without RTX for cheaper, they would d be competing with their own products.

1660 ti would be a good option, or 2060 if you have a bit more money.

the upgrade really depends on what you are trying to accomplish like what games you are looking to play, at what settings, and whether you are going to play them in HD or 4K
