Recently I have built a machine with G41 motherboard, Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q6600 and 8GB of RAM. With all these awesome games coming up, I need to find out if I could play some decent games on this computer. Thus, I would like to know the best graphic card supported by this motherboard. Any ideas?

The Intel G41 Chipset based motherboards usually have PCI Express 1.1 slots. But the good news is that present day PCI Express 3.0 cards are backwards compatible with versions 1.0 and 2.0. So you can very well get a PCI Express 3.0 based cards and use it on PCI Express 1.1. The performance difference of graphics card working on 1.1 slot Vs 3.0 will be highly negligible.

Your processor was released way back in Q1 2007. So...

Can you give the exact make and model? G41 is somewhat vague.

However, right off the bat I can guess that your motherboard supports PCI-e 2.0 (which is compatible with 3.0 cards). So, in saying this what is your budget because you can use pretty much every card on the market.

The R7 265 is nothing but a rebadged 7850, which is still a capable 2GB 256-bit 1080p card.
