an amd r9-270x is likely your best bet.

or.. if you can manage to find a gtx760 at a low enough price that might be a hair better in some games.

@ssddx Prices in India for computer components are way overpriced. So I wouldn't copare it to firect prices of USD's.

it certainly does look that way. looks like the 660 is best there. for just a bit more though you could get the 7870 or r9-270x which perform much better. depends on how static the budget is i suppose

r9 270x(around 18000 rs) is enough pretty much better than gtx 660 , but it's not worth exceeding his budget if it's limit is 15000 rs. So yes, gtx 660 is well suited for his budget. And how do you know about computer component's prices in India? You live there ?
