Best graphics card for £100

k Ive got £100 for a new card. I currently have a 4870 512 pcie currently installed. What would be a good upgrade for this card for the amount? Yes I do want to get the 6950 and flash it to a 6970 but can't justify £200 for a card. So am looking for around the £100 mark, what would be a worthwhile upgrade for the 4870? Main use is for games.

1156 i5 750
4gb gskill 1600mhz ram.

What's your screen res cos i had great results with the HD 5770 at lower resolutions - it does struggle on some games on high settings with 1920x1080 resolutions but not too bad (and its only £80-90 atm)...

i play at 1920x1080 on a 42" screen.

i made this post as i found that the cards around that mark the 4870 actually outperforms most of them so it makes my decision more of a difficult one.

the 5770 is one such card.

Get the HD 5850 from Pixmania.co.uk for £98, if i remember correctly.
