Can anyone tell me what graphics card I can get that will run bf3 on low at 35-40 frames
My specs
I5 3330 3.0 ghz
8gb ram
And 230 watt power supply

You are really limited with that power supply, unless this is a prebuilt machine with a proprietary power supply I would STRONGLY recommend upgrading it. I also will assume you have a slim case so my best recommendation is

And running that is a real stretch as it would tax the hell out of your power supply. I really can't even recommend that though unless you are comfortable with the possibility of a blown psu.

I agree with xroe.

If possible you are much better off to upgrade PSU, but if not you can still probably have a 7750 work with it. Might double check and see if there is a cheaper one that fits your case, but I haven't seen many in low profile so you may not be able to. Thats the best you could probably do though, since you have an i5 CPU, anything more is really pushing it.

I would recommend the Radeon HD 6570:

I only recommended it because of the PSU. I've long since given up trying to get people to upgrade their power supply. It's not like the HD 7750 will run BF4 so at least the HD 6570 is less of a waste of money. If that PSU isn't upgraded, they can't play BF4 properly. I don't care what card they put it because it will either be supported by the PSU but too weak to run BF4 or it will be powerful enough to run BF4 but the PSU won't be able to run it. This is called a "no good answer" question. So, I give the "least bad" answer that I can think of. The system with an HD 7790 will be drawing about 225W and I don't trust a no-name OEM "300W" PSU of questionable age to handle that for long. I prefer to simply save the person from destroying their system. If they want to follow your advice, that's their choice. It's my choice not to recommend anything that is "iffy".

Well you make some good points, but the 7750 I think probably has twice the performance of the 6570, and the same power usage because the 7000 series is much more efficient. There isn't a great answer to these really, because any solution will be on low settings when he plays, but I think he can fit a 7750/7770 though.
