My friend gave me his old gaming PC with an i5 4430 that runs at 3.0ghz. I'm planning to keep the CPU but the graphics card is like 3 years old so I'm looking for a higher powered one. So can anyone tell me the strongest graphics card in the market that I can get without my CPU bottlenecking it? Thanks a lot
I also have 12gb of DDDR3 Ram

Solution
1060/480 would be most optimal. However, you can get away with a GTX 1070 with a little bit of bottlenecking. Still it would be faster than a 1060.

Doesn't specify but I asked my friend and these are the specs he gave for the PSU
Power Supply
Internal 460W (100V-240V)
Form Factor: internal ATX
Total wattage: 460W
Nominal input voltage range:
100-127V/3A (50-60Hz)
200-240V/2A (50-60Hz)
Dimensions: 150mm x 140mm x 86mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches)
* This power supply has an LED to indicate a possible failure condition when LED is off and power is connected.
