I am getting a list of parts to build a gaming pc, I will be getting the Intel Core i5-4670 processor, not the "k" version because I will not be overclocking it, I am new to building pcs, so for now I will not bother. Which graphics card/video card would be best for this processor? The processor itself is around $220 on amazon, so I will need to spend a bit more than that, but nothing crazy because my pc will not be over $900. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Yeah, even without an overclock that chip isn't going to be a bottleneck on very many set-ups.

I'd look into an R9-290. Cost per performance ratio is pretty legit at the moment. Only thing holding me back from bumping up to crossfired 290's is the anticipation of a possible GTX 990 @__@

ok guys thanks a lot, but could you explain how the i3 with the Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 3GB WINDFORCE Video Card is better than the i5 with Gigabyte Radeon R7 260X 1GB Video Card, I thought the i5 was better, but I can look it up or if you could, can you tell me how its better and how my gaming experience would be (like what settings can I play on and how much fps)? thanks a lot for the help guys!

That depends on you, if your modem is away from your desktop, a wireless adapter is a must (if you dont want to throw a ethernet cable all over your house), and the optical drive, well, i havent used mine for a long time, and i only use it when i install windows, but you can do it with a usb stick though, its more a matter of personal needs.
