Core 2 Duo was launched way before 2011-2012, By 2011 Intel had launched Sandybridge (2nd Generation) i3 / i5 / i7.

Your Core 2 Duo was launched in 2007 - its nearly 11 years old.

Grab a gtx 750 and youll play the old games fine.

If you want to game on that PC throw that pc out of your window NOW!!
That CPU can't handle the games especially newer games and mostly the CPU killer: GTA 5 won't even start.
4GB is not enough in 2018 6GB of ram is minimum now.
And you can't even start games up because you have a 32 Bit system, and all games need 64 Bit systems.
And on 32 Bit system the max supported ram is 4GB.

So basically, i have to build a new one to play some serious games..

Hmm..

I bought the current one in 2011-12 when intel launched core 2 duo, for my academic purposes.

Thanks for the suggestions guys..

What if i only looking forward to play the old school GTA VICE CITY,NFS Under Ground 2, age of empires versions only.

Can a low end graphics card can do any good.
