So, my Radeon 6870 died yesterday, after owning it for one year on the dot. I'm stuck using the onboard graphics, not letting me do many graphics intensive things at all. I'm stuck in office-computer mode again, and was wondering what graphics card I could get (trying to go for new since I want to avoid used to avoid this headache of a card dying so quickly.) I don't do that many graphically intensive things yet, and mainly do light gaming such as CSGO at maxed settings on a 900p monitor. My power supply is also only 400 watts, some preferably something that doesn't eat 75% of my power supply, like this card did. I'd prefer the cheapest card I can get my hands on for the money.
Currently my system is pretty shabby - 8gb ddr3-1600, gigabyte h81m-h, Pentium g3258(stock speeds) and a 120gb ssd with ~830gb of other hard drives.
Thanks in advance!
