Question best graphics card for Optiplex 960

I have a Dell Optiplex 960 (Core 2 Quad Q9400), running WinXP. I'd like to find the best graphics card for watching videos/movies. I currently have an AMD Radeon HD6570(1 gb) and it boggles down occasionally while watching an mkv video of a televised soccer game. I wonder if I can improve on this a different graphics card?

Yeah 6570 is really old. You could get an used GTX 1050 or 1050Ti cheap I suppose. Will work like charm. How's the RAM though, if it's 2GB like the usual 960, that is an issue.

Obtaining XP-compatible drivers for the 1050/1050Ti will be problematic as that OS is no longer supported by the GPU manufacturer.
Windows 7 is the oldest Windows version for which drivers are available:
