Hi. I have GA-7TESM (rev. 1.0) with 2 CPUs: x5670. I want to find as optimally as possible the most powerful graphics cards (that are silent) for my mobo. So Please recommend me and I will try to found them used (but in perfect condition).

I have those Expansion Slots:
  • 1 PCI Express 2.0 x16
  • 1 PCI Express 2.0 x8
  • 1 PCI Express 2.0 x4 (x8 mechanical)
  • 1 PCI

I think one card in my only one 2.0 x16 slot will be enough, cuz I suppose i cant use in same time one in 2.0 x16 slot and another in 2.0 x8 slot. Or I wrong? If I wrong please recommend me a combinations for cards in both slots that can be used in same time. Please.

I heard that PCI Express 2.0 and PCI Express 3.0 have exacty the same slots (so I will be able to use PCI Express 3.0), but maybe in my case will be useless to use PCI Express 3.0 cards cuz I will not be able to use effectively their power? PCIE 3.0 card wil be very limited in my 2.0 slot and 3.0 are much more expensive. (Please tell me if I wrong.)

I don't play games I wanna use videocards for video rendering.

With all my respect bro, I wrote: "I don't play games I wanna use videocards for video rendering. "

This mobo right now is with Thermaltake Smart SE 730W. My other PC is with huntkey x7 900w and I can use it if I need more power. I have also very good PSU in my third PC - Seasonic PRIME ULTRA TITANIUM

I appreciate any kind of help related to my questions. Please recommend me silent and good GPUs for my mobo.

There are many that use workstations to also play games...just asking to cover all bases.
Depending on software used for rendering and budget, Titan RTX or EVGA RTX 2080 Super.
I...
In general....from what I have seen.....PCIe 3.0 cards perform almost as well in PCIe 2.0 slots as PCIe 3.0 slots.

I am running a GTX 1080 in a PCIe 2.0 slot and it runs fine.

As far as what card to get.....if not really sure how two x5670s perform together.....so I'm finding it hard to say.

PCI Express 3.0 GPUs are backward compatibles with PCI Express 2.0. That won't be an issue.
There are other more important issues, like power requirements and space.
What's your budget?
Could you post your system components (PSU, PC case, RAM, etc)?

I have 6x8 (48)GB РАМ. at 1333. three channels. my PSU now is 750W (but I can repplace it with 900W from my another case, or 1000W from my third PC), in this case. The case is extremely huge with a lot of space.

I would have recommended a Quadro but they have single blower fan that gets loud.
