Best Graphics card for this build

I was looking to get a new Graphics card but was wondering what the best I could get in this build without having to change much. I have a budget around £300+-

I5-4460 3.2GHZ

gtx 960

500w atx psu

2tb sata III

Gigabyte H81M-S2H

If its a generic 500w PSU you should replace it before upgrading the GPU.

A good quality 500w+ & a gtx 1060 6gb or a RX 480 would be great upgrades

Thanks for the help. Do you think my build could stretch to a GTX1070 if I could get the extra funds? or would the 1060 be max.

If you're running a 1080p 60htz screen then in all honesty both the 480 & 1060 are strong enough.

The 1070 is really a 1440p or 100htz+ GPU.
It wouldn't be a value buy paired with a 4460 & a 1080p screen.

A decent 4gb 480 can be had for £170

Yes I just saw the prices and I was quite surprised haha. How much of a difference does the model make to a graphics card?

I am also looking into getting a 144hz monitor or maybe even a 4k one so I would preferably spend the money now and get a good graphics card that will not need replacing for a while rather than having to change it in the near future.
