Best Graphics Card Option Under $450

I haven't looked into it, but from what I've heard it seems that if you CF any cards below a 6950 I think it was, you can get micro-stuttering issues. What resolution do you play at, and what kind of games do you play? It would also be helpful if you posted your system specs.

EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card $229.99 and a $20 rebate. Comes to $440. (you can only use the rebate for one card)

The performance of the 560 and the 65870 are equal with the 560ti being a step above both so two 560Ti's in SLI would be better than two 6870's in crossfire.

djsnipy is talking about getting two cards for $450 , not one. I was going to make that recomendation as well untill I realized he was talking about getting two cards.

IMHO, if I had this choice, I'd go with the 570. And down the road when you need to upgrade again, you could just get another 570 and SLI them.

I dont understand that mentality kilo, thou I do understand it is one made popular by nvidia and ATI for obvious reasons. By the time you will need the 2nd 570 two new generations of cards will be out. You stick that 2x 570 in there and you now have two outdated cards topping out and still not giving you the performance of the technologies you overlooked.

Additionally, if you "future-proof" your system with this mentality and don't end up ever getting SLI or xfire, then you have wasted some money.

I think more people need to accept that multi-card rigs are purely for those who HAVE to have those 3+ monitors at huge resolutions or someone is really obsessed with a future game like bf3 and must be certain they will get 100fps in it lol.

people please stop spewing money at these companies needlessly. and if your 2 rich to just buy one awesome card...then pm me. Perhaps we can work out a way for u to buy me a new card instead.
