Best Graphics card under $200

Hi

I really like Assassin's creed 1,2, and 3. I want to play at 1080p at acceptable frame rate. Which Video card can do the job well? I'm quite confused with Radeon or GeForce. Which really is better? someone told me that Radeon sucks coz they don't have shader clock and Phys X but another one told me that it is not the basis for the card's quality.

Best card is hd 7850 2gb.it would be good for your pc.

Based on reviews I've seen so far, AC3 runs better on Nvidia cards (that might not be the case now), so if you could spend a little more and get the GTX660, that would be optimum(plus, you'll also get TXAA and adaptive v-sync which I believe is quite important for AC3).

If you can't spend more than $200 though, your best choice is the HD7850 (2GB version are also $200 now) and that card is more than enough any Assassin's Creed series right now.

I don´t think it beats a hd 7870 and if that happens would be by 2-4% max.

for less than 200$ the hd 7850 2gb is the best you can get for now.

lifetime warranty is useless...it applies only for the life of the production of the card...so once cards are out of production you have no warranty....anyway who want to keep the cards for that long this year I went from 6950 CF to 7950 and to 7970 I actually made $25 dollars

nope, the gtx 660 overclock bests the 7870. also doesnt have micro-stuttering issues and has adaptive vsync with amd lacks.

660 wins here my friend.
