Hi,

I need help choosing best video cards for ASRock N68C-GS4 FX motherboard.
It has the following components.
Processor Type: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 x 2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (64 Bit)
Processor Speed: 3000 MHz.
Microcode Update: 40F33/0
L1 Cache Size: 256 KB
L2 Cache Size: 2048 KB
Total Memory: 8192 MB Dual-Chanel Memory Mode

Please give me a few video cards.

Thank you so much.

Solution
I do not recall seeing a GTX950 card with other than 2gb of vram.
Cards differ in price by the fanciness of the coolers and the amount of factory overclock.

Some overclocked versions require a 6 pin aux power lead. I would avoid those also
If you're not planning on upgrading your CPU in the near future, I suggest a GTX950.

The reason being, any modern-day mid-range or better GPU is going to be severely gimped by your CPU.

Now if you're planning on upgrading your entire system in the near future, I certainly would suggest something along the lines of a GTX1060 or RX480.

I want to go with GTX950, but I am still unsure why there are so many cards with the term "GTX950" in it. How do I choose the better GTX950 card from the other GTX950 cards?

Thanks.

Define "better"

I have a method to pick between equally performing products.
Go to Newegg and find the candidates.
Filter on the reviews by verified buyers.
Then look at what percent of the reviews have zero or one eggs indicating some sort of a problem.
In particular, look at the reasons for a bad review. Some are not very valid, so exclude those.

Since "GTX950" is sort of a name of Nvidia chips, wouldn't some of the GTX950 cards has, maybe, 2GB memory, while the other GTX950 might have 4GB? Or could it be that all the GTX950 models use the exact same amount of memory?

Please help explain, and I would go ahead choose a card for myself.

Thanks.
