best graphics from the AMD FX-4300 Processor, 500 W

heres the link to the pc i bought, but only the graphics card is different, i wonder if thats the best graphics card i can get or can i get better ones, im think about gtx770 or the 970 or 960
here are the imformation:

AMD- AMD FX 4300 Processor
- Quad-core
- 3.8 GHz
- 4 MB cache
Windows 10 (64-bit)
8 GB (16 GB maximum installable RAM)
PSU ATX, 500 W

970>770>960, with a 500W you can use a 970 or 960, 770 would probably work but since the PSU came with a prebuilt PC I assume it is garbage so I wouldn't want to overloard it (most prebuilt PC power supplies are not good units), the 970 is the highest you an realistically go with a 4300 (even here there will be instances were the CPU limits you)

i was thining about getting the 960, but my friend want to sell me the 770, i dont know which one is better, my motherboard is AMD 760G, thanks for all your help thought, i thought the 770 need 660w minimum powersupply

The 770 calls for a 600W it would (probably) be fine on a good PSU at 500W

The 770 would be better but if you want to buy it consider the cost of a new PSU as well, you will need it and its not a bad idea as the one your build came with is probably not great anyways.

I feel sorry that you bought a pc from pcworld, I worked there and the lie to the customers, they said a nvidia gt 740 was one of the best gpus on the market, I told the customer to never buy a "gaming" pc from currys, you paid £500 when you could have spent that and bought an already built one on eBay for that price with an i5 and something like an r9 380

agree... it says it came with a 960 but in my pc theres an amd r7200...

for your cpu i would get a gtx 960 or that 770 your being offered now a 770 in some games may be just a BIT faster but in others the 960 is just a BIT faster. so thats up to you i also would consider the r9 380 if you want now a 970 is not a very great card for that cpu as it will bottleneck it not giving much of a performance increase from a 960

then id take it back and say they stole from you because thats what they have basically done.
