Hi guys I just built a computer with these specs:
Windows 7 Pro 64bit
AMD x4 955 @ stock
M4A785TD-V EVO
4GB DDR3 1333MHZ RAM
NVIDIA GTX 470
XFX 650W XXX EDITION PSU
Antec 300
Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATAII 7200RPM 16MB Cache - OEM Caviar Blue
and an optical drive (a writemaster I think)
But i want to start doing video editing on it and using fraps. But I currently have a 1440x900 monitor so i kinda need a higher resolution monitor because i want HD. But I am not sure what res to go for 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 or even a different res? I dont know, but also take into account I still want to run my games smoothly on the new monitor- So I was wondering whether I should even get a monitor if my computer can't handle it. But if you think my computer can handle games like bad company 2, just cause 2 and crysis 2 (when it comes out) all maxed at the resolution chosen then great, i'm just unsure on what to do...
My budget is about £150
Thanks guys.
