I am currently a YouTuber and am looking for a good hard drive to add to a new build I'm going to make soon. Videos do take up a lot of storage so I will need something that can hold a lot. It'll be paired with a 250 gig SSD. My total budget is $1400

Hybrid hard drives offer VERY minimal increases in performance and since you already have a solid state drive it would be a waste of money if you ask me.
Hello my friend,

Glad to see another fellow Youtuber is starting out. Anyways videos do indeed take up space. Depending on my hours recording. 4 videos that are 1+ long take up 20-30GB. It depends on what you are using so for an example OBS takes up a lot of space when recording but it comes down to settings. But assuming that you already know that then let's move onto Hardrive space. So I would recommend Hybrid hardrive as videos when moving them and exporting take a long time on my hardrive but maybe a hybrid hardrive can help you. You got space, reliability and speed.

Thanks, glad to see another YouTuber. I'll look into some hybrid hard drives!

Thank you for the suggestion. I think I'll go for the Hitachi 4TB.
