Best HDMI Cable

I´ve seen that there are a lot of bad quality HDMI cables. I want you to help me choose the right one.

-I will use it to connect my laptop to my monitor (BenQ Senseye 3 G922HDAL)
-Has to be HDMI to VGA or VGA to VGA.

I bought cheap ones off amazon and they worked fine, can't really tell the difference between them and the more expensive ones unless its hdmi 1.3 vs 1.4.

You need to use a standard VGA to VGA cable, not HDMI. HDMI is digital. VGA is analog. You cannot go from HDMI to VGA without an active convertor box, which is costly, and serves no purpose when VGA to VGA is an option.

That monitor doesn't even have HDMI so you kind of have me confused. If the laptop has HDMI you would want an HDMI to DVI cable. This is a digital signal with no conversion so the cable either works or does not. There's no real difference in cable quality.

Yes what you said is exactly wat I found in reviews from Amazon. The monitor has only VGA port. My laptop has both (HDMI and VGA) but I was supposing to connect HDMI (from laptop) to VGA (That is obviously not going to work).

So, which high resolution VGA to VGA cable would you recommend me?
