I am looking at buying a new HSF for my CPU and was looking for some advice on which ones are the best. I am looking at either a Coolermaster Hyper 6, Zalman CNPS7700-Cu or the thermaltake Subzero4G. I was wondering if anyone knew which one would be the best one and if anyone else knows of a good HSF than if they could suggest one. Mycurrent setup is:
Motherboard: Gigabyte K8NSNXP-939
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 939
GFX Card: Leadtek Winfast 6600GT
Memory: 2x512Mb Kingmax DDR400
HDD: 2x200Gig WD Sata + 1X200Gig WD IDE
Soundcard: Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS
PSU: Antec True Power 550W
Case: SUPER FLOWER 4 Series XION SILVER WINDOW
Fans: Vantec Stealth 1x120mm + 1x80mm
Thx

stick w/ zalman 7700... make sure it fits your rig =P. i'm kinda bothered that you bought a 200gig IDE... why do you need slower transfer may i ask? its about the same price for a SATA

I had a bit more of a look around today and I have decided that I aqm going to bite the bullet and water cool it. The one I am lookig at is the Tt Big water cooling kit has anyone had any problems with this kit and if yes what were they. I have the IDE one as it came out of my old System and I thought that I could use it in this you can never have enough HDD space.

Are you referring to the 150 MB/s interface that SATA brings to the table. What good is 3" pipe if you only can supply 2" of water?

Theres nothing wrong with your HD its fine. The TT bigwater is an ok setup. Its not the best, but for the money it does a good job. Its very easy to install. This is the same kit that I started out with. The cheapest and best route would be to build one yourself, but if your new to liquid cooling you probably dont want to do that. Check around for prices on that system, I have seen it for as little as $135.00 and as high as $175.00 You should be able to get one in the $150.00 range with no problem.
