Hey, I'm trying to find the best solution for backing up reliable images of my desktop.. I'm going to have like 3 linux images & windows, mac etc.

I know about Acronis but when I tried it I felt the program was to invasive when it came to installation, if you disagree let me know.. S If you know any backup software it would be great to hear you'r opinion on the best solution. Thanks!!!

Solution

I use Macrium Reflect almost exclusively.

Solution
I use Veeam Endpoint free exclusively, they have PC / Linux software. Quick backups, good compression and the ability to do either a single file restore or bare metal restore, and it will create a customized restore ISO file you can burn to disk which will include network drivers so you can easily do restores over the network.

It lacks some customization options compared to some other products but it is simple and easy to use.
