What would be the best intel cpu for gaming that is not overpriced or too expensive? Also the same with intel motherboard

$200 max for both? You can get a Intel CPU and mobo, but they wouldn't be particularly good.

Something like this would probably be your best option with Intel if you already have a graphics card and can go over your budget a bit.

The thing is I don't really know if I should upgrade how would you rate my rig for gaming the specs are

I agree, I see no reason to switch to Intel. I don't even know if any sort of upgrade is necessary, I'd say a 2400G is a pretty decent match for an RX 580. Maybe just needs a little overclock if anything. Is your PC not performing as desired in some way?
