What is the Best Intel CPU, MOBO and RAM for gaming under $350AUD?

I was told the fx-6300 is a good choice, but would an i3-4130 compare?

It always depends on the games you are playing and the rest of the hardware you are using .

The AMD chips are more powerful than many people have given them credit for . They deliver weaker individual threads , but more of them .
In high resolution and detail gaming its common enough to get very similar FPS between intel quads and an FX 6300

Uses a the 6350 [ a mild OC of a 6300 ] and you are at 1 fps less than a 4770k

Having said that if you want to play skyrim or starcraft an Intel dual core will probably work better

I play alot of FPS and some starcraft type games. I was leaning towards Intel only because im not familiar with AMD but i might purchase one now. Thanks for the info and your help.
