Looking for fiber internet and comcast has some pretty good deals surprisingly, options up to 1200 mbps for 85/95w/o contract ($25 cheaper with mobile, not sure what this means, do i have to download the app?), last time my friend told me he was paying 170ish a month. The only problem i have is last time we had Comcast, their service kept dropping. At&t has been more reliable since there's a transformer near us, but idk if fiber is more reliable in general or not. I only have air from at&t as an option. What other companies are there to look at?

Anyone work for an internet company? See that ft comcast employees get free internet, but do part timers get any benefits? What are the best deals for people in Michigan? (there's some good options that are only available to people in downtown detroit and probably more suburban areas.

Let me know any information you can find/give, thank you.

First thing you have to objectively evaluate is will you benefit from internet speeds above a 400 - 500Mbit? 99.9% of home users? NO. A game download might be 2 min faster. Is that REALLY significant? Gigabit WAN speed is capacity that you typically can't use. 4K streaming? 40Mibt.
First see if you will benefit or if you just have FOMO.

With that in mind, i may go with the 10g 200 mbps, i want fiber since it's reliable, but not sure where to find it, only seeing 10g from com. But thanks for the perspective.
