Hi, I'm looking for a new IPS monitor and there are a lot of sales going on right now, but I'm not sure what one to buy. Here's the form:

1. What Is Your Country Of Origin? USA

2. What do you plan to do with this monitor? (ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.) Gaming, movie watching, programming, CAD

3. What resolution and screen size do you want?
I'm not sure. Somewhere between 23" and 27" probably. For the resolution, I'd like 2K.

4. What refresh rate do you want? (ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.)
More than 60hz, preferably around 144hz if I can afford it.

5. How much are you looking to spend?
Less than $450 USD. Up to $500 if worth it. Since there are a lot of sales going on right now, I'm looking for one on sale.

6. Brands Preferred (ex. Samsung, Acer, Asus, AOC, HP, Viewsonic, etc. )
No preference, just one that has good customer service or doesn't have many dead pixels.

7. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why)
None

8. Are You Buying More Than One Monitor?
No. I might buy a second in the future.

9. How Many Displays Can Your GPU Support Maximum? And what GPU and driver version are you using if applicable?
I don't have a GPU yet, going to get one after I get a new monitor. Currently running Intel HD Graphics 530. Going to get GTX 970 or higher.

10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).
From what I've seen displayport is almost always better, so that.

11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?
Primary

12. Is This A Secondary Display For A Laptop?
No

Thanks if you help! I'm not sure I can get those specs with my budget, but with thanksgiving sales I'm hoping to find a good one on sale.

There doesn't seem to be any monitor that fits all your requirements. Very few monitors are both IPS and support > 60hz. The two that I can think of that are worth buying are the Acer XB270HU (G-Sync) and the ASUS MG279Q (Freesync). The Acer is about $300 more because it has G-Sync. The reason these don't meet your requirements is price. with the Acer being around $999 and the ASUS being around $699. At lower price points you need to choose between IPS at 60hz and TN at 144hz.
