I currently own the ASUS VX238H monitor. It is a TN panel with a 1ms GTG response time. Its served me well but I prefer better color reproduction. I'm looking for an IPS 24" or 27" 1080p, with accurate color reproduction and decent responsiveness. Keep in mind that glossy displays don't bother me and in fact are slightly more preferable. My use is almost exclusively for extensive gaming on the Playstation 4 with possible PC Gaming in the future. I also want to hear your opinions on 1080p 27" panels (I'm somewhat skeptical of the pixel density at that size) and I'll be sitting roughly 2-3 feet away from the display. I appreciate any personal experiences, advice or other suggestions.

My three extensively researched choices:

Dell U2414H 24" (Ignore the 8ms response time, its been tested with great response times and minimal ghosting. Over all pretty good.)

Dell S2740L 27" (My main concern with this monitor is its low to medium Dark Overshoot. Some say they notice, others don't. Great response times though. Appears to be the best out of the three in reproducing accurate color.)

Asus MX279H 27" (This one seems to be pretty decent in all departments but doesn't really excel at anything specific)
