Hello. I need to buy a laptop and my budget is low. I am thinking ryzen 3 or i3 but I can’t decide which brand should I get. The ones im looking at are:
  • HP 15s
  • HP 255 G8
  • Asus Vivobook x515ea
  • Lenovo v15 or Acer Aspire 3
There are so many models that I lost my mind and I need help.
Some people told me that the HP 15s is very cheap and its HP's lowest model, overheating, bad quality overall. I don’t know, im clueless. If someone helps it would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I didnt ask my question correctly. It’s not about the price. It’s gonna be low end, yes. But my question rather is which brand of the low end would be best to get in terms of quality. Because I got mixed opinions on HP and I really dont want the laptop to start overheating after couple of months. So yeah my main concern is longevity and durability as a whole.

I'd probably try to shop in the "business" or "corporate" lines rather than "home" or "consumer".

You may well be faced with the same issues a "low end" desktop buyer would encounter.....you have little control over internal parts and can only speculate as to build quality that might correlate with durability.

Ideally.....you might want a cheap low end CPU, coupled with higher end other components. But I wouldn't expect to find that combination.

You say "low end" and "tight budget", but "it's not about price."

Hmmmm.......

You might be better off with "mid-range" price even if you don't need mid-range CPU horsepower. Even then, any increase in reliability would be speculative. You need some luck on that.

But I would try to concentrate on business models unless price absolutely prohibits. And hope to be lucky.
