Hi all, I'm looking for the best laptop you can get for 700$ max. I don't care how big or ugly it is just care performance-wise. I would prefer something around 650$, but if 700$ would give me a significant performance boost then I am willing to spend that much. I will be using the laptop for light gaming and school work. Thanks

Appears to be the same computer with a different model # as far as I see for $70 cheaper.

The processor in this system is a low-voltage dual-core that has performance closer to an i3 than an i5. It is made to lower power-consumption for extended battery life, reduced heat, etc. This will lower gaming performance even with an 840M, though with that GPU it shouldn't be too big a deal.

For a significant boost in gaming performance you would have to jump to ~$1000. For a boost in overall performance, you can get a proper i5 with 840M for ~$850. Also, some people don't trust Acer so be aware of that.

I'd prefer an independent one so I can get maximum performance. I play a lot of new-middle games. Basically, I'm just looking for the best all-around performance in a laptop.

Okay, well, I don't have anything in specific but look around on websites for laptops with GeForce graphics processing units. Usually the graphics processing units for laptops made by Nvidia end with an "m" such as the GTX880m.

hi guys

Can anyone tell me if any of these will be able to play dota 2 OK? https://laptopninja.io/finding-the-best-laptops-under-400-dollars/

I don't have $600 to spend right now and GeForce GT 840M laptops seem a lot more pricey
