Hello! I am looking for a new laptop for everyday use - for both work and games. I've found some laptops, but I would like to hear your advice about them.

1. What is your budget?
Up to 2000 euros, but cheaper is better. I hope to buy a laptop for about 1700-1800 euros, but if there are some really excellent options are worth it, I think 1900-2000 is ok.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
14-16''

3. What screen resolution do you want?
FHD 1920x1080

5. How much battery life do you need?
Doesn't matter, I use it only at place where there is a plug

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Programming, calculations, modelling

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Minimum is 512 Gb, but I am going to extend the storage to 1Tb in future adding an SSD (if the laptop has less than 1Tb)

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I live in France just for some months, so I found these sites: materiel.net and ldlc.com. But if there are others, I am opened for suggestions.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
For a long time, at least 3-5 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
I don't need optical drive

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
Now I am considering: MSI, Acer, Asus, Gigabyte, Lenovo, Dell. Any suggestions are welcome.

13. What country do you live in?
France, Paris

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

The following is only my point of view. I am not 100% confident and I am opened for any discussions. If you think that other options are better - let's discuss it!

I am looking for a laptop with RTX 3070. From my point of view, 3070 is acceptable in terms of price and has sufficient performance to be a good GPU for games for 3-5 years. I understand that a laptop version cannot run all AAA projects at ultra settings, but I hope it will run current games at middle-high at 60 FPS and after some years (3-5) it will be able to run new games at acceptable FPS at low-mid settings.
As for CPU, I am not a fan of AMD, but is seems that Ryzen 7 5800H is comparable with i7-11800H. These 2 CPUs seem to be the best options for laptops in this budget. I wasn't considering 10th generation of i7 just because I am looking for a laptop for some years and it is better to buy the latest generation. But I am not sure, maybe 10th generation of i7 is also ok.

So, I found this list of specs to start with:
CPU : Ryzen 7 5800H / i7-11800H
GPU: RTX 3070
RAM: 16Gb+
Storage: 512Gb SSD +
Resolution: 1920x1080

I found some interesting laptops:
MSI GF66 Katana 11UG-071XFR (https://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00433293.html?offerId=AR202103220100)

ACER Nitro 5 AN515-45-R2F9 (https://www.materiel.net/produit/202011200113.html)

GIGABYTE AERO 15 XC-8FR1130SH (https://www.grosbill.com/pc-portable/gigabyte/52862.aspx?utm_source=flux_awin&utm_campaign=comparateur_prix&utm_content=produit_04000763&#siteawin)
But it has i7 10th generation.

I would like to hear any suggestions and advices. Maybe someone among you has a laptop from the list and can give some comments about it.
Also, I was almost ready to buy MSI GF66 Katana 11UG-071XFR, but then I found this video and it seems that the laptop is not really good and seems to be not well assembled, and has some problems with cooling. So, not only raw specs matter. The material, cooling etc are also important.

To sum up:
Which laptop under 2000 euros you would buy? Which from the list of my options seems the best one? Do you have any other laptops better?
