Best laptop under $800 for gaming

I am looking at a ASUS ROG ZX50VW for $750. I'm not familiar with the pricing on laptops. Let me know if it's a good deal.


CPU: Intel i7 6700HQ
GPU: GTX 960M
HDD: 1 tb (i can just upgrade later to ssd
RAM: 8gb

Is it a good deal?

I recently missed the shell shocker from newegg on an MSI GL62 for same price which has i5 6500HQ.

Which one is better? And is the ASUS ROG a good buy? I can't find them anymore on asus website. Thanks!

Quad core i7 and a 960m for $750 is a good price.

It's a good deal.

Asus has likely stopped manufacturing them because they are going to be releasing new laptops. Nvidia recently launched their Pascal generation GPUs and Intel is releasing their Kaby Lake generation CPUs in the 3rd quarter this year.
