Best lighting setup inside NZXT S340?

Hi, I've been trying to come up with a lighting setup for the white NZXT S340. While I could just slap a few LED strips on it and be done with it, I'm not a fan of seeing the LEDs themselves, which is why I need help. I'd like the smoothest lighting I can get.

Has anyone ever fit strips inside it and successfully hid them? How do I do that? It seems to always show them, sometimes through a small reflection on the case window. Or, does anyone know an alternative to LED strips that has smoother lighting? Or maybe just covering the strip with something?

Lastly, underglow, yay or nay? Many think it's tacky and unnecessary, but I've seen rigs that can pull it off nicely. What do you think?
