Hi.I have a question about lubricate for pc fan.i'm going to grease the fun and i think that grease to choose.IMHO i think to buy grease silicone in air spray/or oil silicone what will be better?
I read many articles and i vote for that option.
Help me what choose silicone oil or grease air spray/in plastic box
Or maybe you have any other suggestion.I need you help. But pls advise me safe and best option in professional approach.

Any oil will do. I use a general purpose silicon oil spray as it's transparent and don't stain (on some more expensive fans that worths for me the time to lube them). But a drop of motor oil could work as well or even better if the tolerances are loose and you need to reduce play. As said, these plastic fans if they need lubrication they are mostly toast and will go bad soon and attract dust if you add lube (and might even gather dust in the motor and add resistances and burn the motor coils due to high effort and slow spinning).

This lubing is a temporary squirt of life into a noisy fan that may not even be worth the effort to disasemble, but it's your time, have fun. Do it once see it gone bad in a day or two or a week or two.. and judge for yourself if that was worth the effort.
Your mileage may vary!
