[SOLVED] Best M.2 for PRIME-Z270-AR

Hello from a M.2 noob

I am new to the world of M.2 storage (for the OS), the motherboard (PRIME-Z270-AR) has a "slot/socket?" for it and the motherboard specs says it will take various types of M.2 but I am getting confused by which type I am meant to get for that slot/socket ?

I am looking at this card : Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD , would this go into the slot/socket?

Is there perhaps a better/faster M.2 card I should be getting?

Gaming, I will only put the new games on this drive though, all the older titles on the other drives I have, my current OS is on a 120GB SSD, so this is an upgrade of that.

Edit: It looks like I have 2 M.2 slots, does it matter which one I use?

For gaming that drive will suffice, it's actually faster then the 970Pro at most things (except large writes) !
