I am bulding a new pc at the moment, mostly for extreme gaming, editing, rendering and streaming. I have most parts already just missing 1 or 2 things, and one of them is storage.

I got a MSI Z270 xpower gaming titanium so i thought of exploring its M.2 capabilities.I did some research and the Samsung 960 Pro is leading the charts, but theres also the 960 EVO version for less money.

So my first question is: What are the differences between the EVO and the Pro? wich one will benefit me more according to what i'm going to be doing with the pc.

My second question is: Should i get 2 M.2 Samsung 960's of 1tb (evo or pro) or should i just get the 2 tb version of the samsung 960 pro?

3rd question: If i do get the 2tb 960 pro and split/partition it in 2 seperate drives of 1 tb each would it affect the ssd performance? does it matter at all if you use it as a solo drive or split it. (bit of a silly question but as i said im a bit of a newbie in these things)

So in conclusion i would be using 1 tb just to storage games, and the other 1 tb for the OS and the rest. I will also get a 2TB Sata SSD for storing movies, music, pictures, etc. Is this a good solution?

Lemme know what's the best solution and thank you in advance for the anwsers to my questions even if they might sound a bit silly..

I have 2 960 evo disks 500gb each and are happy with the disks, but they get warm (have seen 73 degree c and the reason is that one disk sits on top of the long asus rog strix 1070 and one under neat the gpu my MB is asus rog strix z270f gaming,I have installed corsair h110i cooler with 2 fan and 2 fans inlet all 140 mmm noctua. When you are playing it seems all the air from the front is pulled up top to the h110i fans (as it should) leaving the 2 disks with little air.My solution was to cut 2 holes in the casing and mount one fan 140mm to cool the lower disk and one same size to cool the top disk my cabinet is the corsair 750 d full tower,so in total I have 7 fans in the case, and is getting tierd of all the fan noise ,and will build...
