Best Match GPU for FX-6300 & M5A78L-M LX V2

Currently My PC has a specification as below:

1. MB : Asus M5A78L-M LX V2
2. Proc : AMD FX-6300
3. RAM : Kingstone Hyper X 1866 Mhz 8 GB
4. HDD : Samsung EVO SSD
5. GPU : Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X
6. PSU : Simbadda 500W
7. OS : Windows 7 64 bit

Just upgraded the Proc yesterday to FX-6300, I used Phenom II X2 555 before.

With this component they are doing just fine. Very satisfied with the FX-6300. I can play heroes of the storm with resolution 1440 X 900 and Extreme setting at 60 Hz with no lag at all.
I tried X-com 2 with the same resolution and ultra setting. I have notice that FPS was dropping and it was not smooth when i slide the mouse along the screen.

If I want to play most of the games with 1920 X 1080 Rez & Ultra setting.
What is the most feasible upgrade for the GPU and PSU using this MB and Proc?.

I'm not setting any budget limitation, i know that my MB have it's own limitation already.

Something like a GTX960 or R9 380 and any psu by Seasonic, Antec, XFX, Super Flower, or EVGA's B2, G2, or GS series.

From the shop i bought FX 6300 said.. He had the experience that GTX 960 will not detected M5A78L-M LX, even the BIOS already updated to the latest. He suggested me to GTX 750ti or R7 370. what i worried is if i get GTX 960 will it be bottlenecked by FX 6300 or from my MB.

Currently My option are Asus Strix R7 370 4G, Asus GTX 750ti, or should I get a better card?

For the PSU. 500W is enough? or should i go for more?

The 370 is better and would be decent. 500w is enough assuming it's a good quality unit. I've never heard of a Simbadda unit, and it's not everyday I come across a psu brand I've never heard of.
