Best MB for GTX Titan X?

What's the best MB for GTX Titan X GPU? I bought an ASUS Maximus VII board for my GTX 970 but I'll be buying a Titan X next week for my son.

Any Ideas?

any motherboard that has pcie 3.0 works with the titan x. Which is most to all motherboards for X99 Z97, Z87, and FM2+. Pick one that meets ur budget and needs and ur good.

What cpu u want to go with? is it being used for gaming? is he overclocking?

Hey. He's building the best gaming rig. I bought him an i7 4GHz processor. It'll be OC to 4.4GHZ with a decent cooler.

any Z97 board would work, find one that looks good and meets the needs. Most Z97 boards overclock quite well. the Maximus VII Hero is a good choice as u have it already. the sabertooth mark 1 is good too. or get the maximus VII Impact and go for a small form factor super powerful system, liquid cool the i7 and boom good to go.

Literally pick a Z97 motherboard that meets the feature set and price, and it will be great for the titan X

Yep that's the processor. Is there any better than this?

Corsair Dominator are the go to for best premium ram, but ram is ram and it normally just works. That cpu is the best for Z97, but theres the X99 platform where the i7s have 6 cores, 12 threads to 8 cores and 16 threads, being the 5820k, 5930k, and 5960x, but really not beneficial for gaming
