Best memory out there????

I got corsair vengeance pc 15000 1866 4x4gb and im not sure if its worth what i payed



can someone please post the top 3 out there? is it gskill sniper/ripsjaw , patriot, ?


i run i7 2600k @ 4.5ghz , ssd , msi z77a g45

I guess it depends a lot on what you are using it for. I have always been fine with the cheap ripsjaw or ripsjaw x series, especially when i can get 3 kits of those for the cost of one corsair vengeance kit. I have never had any prematurely fail but even if they did I would still come out ahead. Benchmark-wise may be a different scenario so check here for more info:

Also it looks like your mobo has to overclock the 1866 anyway, so these benchmarks won't be the same as using a mobo that can handle 1866 without overclocking but I guess that is debatable. If you haven't set it to auto overclock or manually set it up to 1866 you may only be getting 1600 out of them anyway.
