Best mid-range graphics card for 3d rendering softwares?

I'll be using softwares like 3ds max, Revit with 3d rendering plugins like vray, corona, iray etc. So, what's the best mid range graphics card for me?
I have narrowed down my options to GTX 950/960. Also, I won't be buying Quadro or AMD cards. Which one should I go for?
Is the 960 worth the extra 30usd? Or will 950 be enough for my works?
