Depends on what you need the phone for, acting as phone, getting emails etc etc.

I really like the Windows Phone for the simplicity and the fact it's not splintered like Android, app store lacking content ( change on the way with IOS app conversion SDK now gone open source ), but just works, has to be a good thing for wife and daughter to ditch Android and get a M$ Phone like me 😉

Complete lockdown, but with lots of apps, expensive iPhone.

Open, splintered and with lots of apps and spam from manufacturers, cheap to expensive, Android.
