I thought I'd make a budget(ish) mini ITX build for my dad. He does some photo editing, media streaming email, and lots of spread sheets and word, (etc.) I have a current build around the $800 range. I also thought it would be fun to try a mini ITX build for the first time. :)

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: ASRock H97M-ITX/AC Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (no hdd)

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card

PSU: Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Case: Silverstone Sugo SG13B Mini ITX Tower Case

(extra fan): Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition 67.8 CFM 140mm Fan

If anybody has any better suggestions for parts or recommendations, that would be really appreciated! Please nothing over $800.

Thanks Guys!

Thanks for the response! Interms of onboard WIFI, does the Asus mobo have a onboard wifi adapter? Also for RAM is single channel or dual channel more optimal?

Thanks for the help!

I chose a single memory because you mainboard have just 2 slots and i think you may need future upgrades :)
and about wifi adabter i can say there is 4 model of mini-ITX mainboards have wifi adabter build in but they are more expensive than this specs :)
