Best mobo and gpu for rendering and games

Hi
I will be building a pc at the end of summer but I would like your opinion on the mobo and gpu to buy. I will be using 3ds max, maya, unity, flash, and alot of 3d software.
I currently have in mind the following msi gaming 5 and the gtx 960 both 400-500$ I will be adding another gpu later on when I have more money maybe Sli and a K. Series rendering Gpu.

Suggested amount of ram for rendering is 16GB try to get a 4x4Gb Ram kit
